Jack and Alex are my two youngest cousins. Growing up with them has been one of the best experiences I've ever had. I consider them like my two younger brothers, who I horse around with and teach them how to play some sports. I would always give them "hand-me-downs." So it would be funny seeing them wear my old clothes that I used to wear at their age. These two boys mean so much to me and it has been such a joy watching them grow up.
Jack and Alex always brighten my day when I would see them. I would always ask my mom if they were coming down the beach or to Florida with us, and if they were, I just knew the vacation would be that much better. Every time we would go down to LBI, it would go without question that we would play mini golf a Flamingo Mini Golf. It's basically become a tradition that we play there every time and if we play well our names would get up on the scoreboard.
Its crazy to think now that Jack is 13 and Alex is 11. They have grown up so much. This past fall I came home from college one weekend for Jack's bar mitzvah. It was another wonderful family gathering. Whenever the whole family gets together there is this certain vibe, and its so good to all be together. It's even more mind blowing that now I casually text with Jack and Alex. They have always been the little guys in the family but now they have cell phones and text me.

Jack wrote a little narrative here:
Growing up with close cousins really impacted me in many positive ways. First off, having close cousins allowed me to not just have more family, but best friends too. Whether it was on vacations or living close to each other at home and seeing each other often, I always have a blast with them. We all share similar interests in sports, mini-golf, and stupid comedy TV shows like South Park.......at least most of my cousins. Whenever I am told I get to see the cousins or ask if there coming on vacation with us, it always brings a smile to my face. Having close cousins makes me feel like I have even more family and more people that care for me. Not everyone has close cousins like I do and I am very thankful I got to grow up with them. Alex wrote a little narrative here:
Ben is my oldest and favorite cousin. He teaches me and makes me who I am. Ben is also one of my best friends, and we have a special bond. We always hang out and when we do he shows me how to have a great time. If it weren't for him everything in my life would be different. I always look forward to spending time with him.
